"To me, their relationship is one of the saddest. I love relationships that are happy and meaningful.
How I view Kagome and Kurama is that Kurama can never really love someone without them knowing the truth. Kagome of cousre has been around demons for quite sometime.That wouldn’t be a problem in the relationship because Kagome does have an ability when it comes to fighting.
Kagome really needs someone to love and be with her instead of having a love that can never be returned fully. They can be happy with each other because their problems weigh out evenly."

“Looking back, I’ve known Yu Yu Hakusho and InuYasha for sometime, even if I was limited to the showings on Cartoon Network. Truth be told, I’ve just only recently gotten into the pairing. (Recently being like…yesterday xDD) But…for some reason, I could never see Kagome with InuYasha. I never despised either of the characters, oh no. But there was something missing in their so-called ‘relationship’. It was caring that was missing, and it was understanding that was missing. It has been said time and time again by Kurama/Kagome fans-Kagome needs someone who can understand what she’s going through, and considering Kurama’s circumstances, I believe he can relate. They both need someone who will love and care for them as they are, not who they were or resemble. And, if we go by canon in this world and both of theirs, it’s tragic. Think about it. Should both the creators of InuYasha and Yu Yu Hakusho agree to have a collaboration featuring the two anime/manga, the time Kagome and Kurama spend together would be short lived. As soon as they can see that little light, they’re torn apart and put back into their
own worlds.
Kurama/Kagome is many things. It’s a tragic romance. It’s a fluffy love. It’s also passionate. KagKur is, but it isn’t.

“Anyone with eyes can see that they belong together. Kurama and Kagome not only ‘look’ good together but they both need someone who will understand each others feelings. Inuyasha is still too hooked up on Kikyo to really show his feelings for Kagome if he truly has any, which to me doesn’t look like he has. He always will see Kikyo in Kagome. Kurama however CAN give Kagome the attention she deserves. For Kurama, I think he’s looking for someone who can accept him for who he is and not have to hid himself away. (I’m talking about the Youko in him) He already has trouble with keeping this from his mother. Kagome doesn’t care what a person looks like or judge them for their flaws. She can really shine the light on Kurama and open him up more and I honestly think if they ever got together, she could convince him to tell his mother about who he really is without fearing rejection.”

They both know the world for its evils, but they are not blind to the good. Their trials have only served to make them stronger and purer.
They are both lonely figures trapped amongst those who could never truly understand them. Kagome is caught between two times. Kurama is caught between two dimensions of reality. In each other, they could find a kindred spirit to help and support them in their endeavors. They could make each other happy in ways that others could not.”

“At first, my little sister was very… obsessed with it. I thought it would be one of those phases that she goes through but I guess I was wrong. Now I help her with her site and I can see why she loves the pairing so much.
As I keep on reading over what she writes, I find Kurama and Kagome even more adorable than they already are, and I am now definitely a supporter of that pairing. I’ll do my best to contribute to the site when I can!!!”

“I am actually stumbling onto this relationship for the first time, but it seems very supportable for many reasons.
First, Kagome truly needs someone who will nurture her and whom she can take care of in return. Kagome, though a strong woman, is also very fragile and needs someone who will understand and love her.
And Kurama is a similar case. He’s a very sentimental and kind-hearted person, even if he is a demon. In his love life he needs a woman who will truly love him for who he is, murderous past and all. Plus, Kurama should get taken so all of the fangirls will shut up and back off. ^^;;”

“Well, look at the pairing from a somewhat logical perspective. [And I do realize this is rather long, for which I apologize.]
I have nothing against Inu-Yasha- in the manga he is really sweet much of the time- he sort of gets demonized [no pun intended!] on the TV show, from what I’ve heard.
...but at the same time, he is sworn to and loves Kikyou. It really seems that he and Kagome are destined to be close friends, but only that.
He could never be with Kagome in the long run because there would always be that small doubt from both of them on whether he saw just her, or her as a part of Kikyou. I love him as a character- but that pairing is not meant to be, in my book.
However Kagome strikes me as the type to really need a dependable significant other. So, we look at the main guys on the IY show- Miroku? [wrinkles nose] I love him, but no. His con-artist personality- and lechery- would drive them apart.
Naraku? Don’t make me laugh. Sorry, but she’d never fall in love with him. He’s one of the few people I think Kagome truly hates. Kouga? He’s too brash, and far too rough for her. Seriously, a modern girl living in a big cave with ex-man-eating wolves? It would never happen.
Shippou? He is just itty bitty! And he does seem to have some sort of familial-esque relationship with Kagome, though whether as brother or son or cousin is a matter of opinion. Not a romantic possibility.
Sesshoumaru? Yes, I love that pairing, but realistically- she is human. He’d never truly want her just as she is. Purity of the blood is very important to him, regardless of whether or not he cares for Rin.
...Hojo? [laughs] He is sweet, and way too over-confident. She’s made it pretty clear she’s not all that interested in him. And how could she be happy with someone who would never truly understand what she is?
And that’s the last of the major guy characters I can recall for that show. So- I turn my attention to outside of the Inu-Yasha cast.
Of all other anime, Yu Yu Hakusho seems like it would mesh the best with Inu-Yasha. The existence of Makai would answer the question, “What happened to all the youkai?” that I’m sure everyone who has read “Inu-Yasha” has wondered. Sure, the mesh isn’t perfect- but I’ve yet to find a better one.
And of the YYH cast- well, much as I love Hiei, he’s somewhat similar to Sesshoumaru in anti-human sentiments, regardless of how he slightly softens to the other SD. Besides, though he watches over Yukina, I don’t think he really wants a family, per se.
Yusuke? His bond with Keiko, in the manga, at least, [I’ve never seen either TV show] is what has helped him develop his powers, motivated him- and his care with her is unquestionable.
Kuwabara? While I don’t believe he is as stupid and annoying as several authors make him out to be, he is not for Kagome. He is too brash, and from what I’ve read he clearly cares for Yukina. While somewhat testosterone-poisoned, he has shown how much he wants to protect her. That possible couple shouldn’t be split.
Koenma, for obvious reasons, is not an option. He’s a toddler half of the time anyway.
...leaving us with Kurama. His perceptiveness, and his gentleness towards people he cares about, would really help Kagome, who does feel somewhat insecure and has been inadvertently hurt by many people. He might even be the first male [demonic or spiritual] she’ll meet who wouldn’t attack her in their first meeting! Kagome will be hurt by the loss of Inu-Yasha, whether he goes to hell or stays in Sengoku Jidai. She clearly isn’t meant to stay there. Kurama would so easily be an anchor for her- he is a demon who has grown up in modern Japan. He would understand her powers, and she could be herself- a partially-trained miko/guardian of the Shikon no Tama, and he could be himself. A demon spirit who slipped into an embryo before it gained a spirit, and grew up “human” while changing and growing into his demonic powers.
He needs somewhat who is loyal, who can defend herself, and who would understand his situation. He cares for humans- his mother is a case in point- and while he is powerful and occasionally ruthless, he has a softer side. I have always gotten the impression he is rather lonely. I mean, look at when he first met Yusuke- he was so grateful to talk to someone who would trust and listen to him, that he’d tell his story to a stranger, because at least Yusuke would understand him.
...Who fits the billet better than Kagome? She is caring, powerful, determined, and fairly attractive. She could help fill the emptiness in his life. She knows of demons, of power, and cares for people regardless of what they are. She was willing to stay and help Inu-Yasha even when he told her he couldn’t ask her to, since he had chosen Kikyou. She is so clearly loyal to the people she cares about. Who would better appreciate that than Kurama?
I challenge someone to find a better pairing for either of them, because I have yet to find one!”

Face it, besides the Spirit Detectives for Kurama and Kagome’s feudal era friends and her mother, they really do not have any else in their life that understands what they are going through, or the stress that they feel. When together, they can just forget all about their problems and have moments of normalacy. Also, they desire someone to love them for who they are, not what they look like or who they once were. They have an understanding of what it’s like to feel alone in a crowded room. It’s a happiness that both deserve and should have. Why would anyone object to such an open, romantic relationship that Kurama and Kagome have??”

Kurmama is kind ,clever, witty and understanding ,he also has the Youko to give him a bit of a dangerous edge.
Kagome is kind, brave, and a bit of a naive ditz but for those few qualities make the pair a more real coupling.

Kagome Higurashi’s personality is very easy to pair up with any guy — and her kind-hearted personality deserves someone else. Sure she sits Inuyasha, but most of the time he’s the evil ass. Kagome and Kurama look amazing together, deal with it haters.
