The Couple

It’s difficult to say for certain how this pairing was created, but from what I honestly believe, it came from fanfiction. Like it’s origin, it’s still unknown to us fans on who was the first person to give us such a lovely pairing, but since the majority of us care more about the present rather than history, I’ll just go on and give my input on the pairing, yeah?

Kurama and Kagome seem to pair together well personality and historically wise; although they are important characters from two different series, the idea of them as a couple could be plausible if the series ever did cross over and if they met under certain cirumstances.

Both Kurama and Kagome experience with living two different kind of lives. A life with their family, friends, and other social activities, while they are also attached to their job to fight. Kagome, a reincarnated priestess, and Kurama, the human form that Youko Kurama resides in, both experiment difficulties in their present lives because of their past lives.

To be mistaken for the late priestess Kikyou, and to be sought after because of his former life as Youko Kurama, the two characters work hard to continue living and developing the character they are now. With friends, new and old, alongside them, they have support to keep going and people to protect.

Kagome’s friends, Eri, Yuka and Ayumi, care for her very much and are the average high school girls in the modern time. As friends, they care for her very much and when they can, they check up on her and her ‘illness’, but they are especially conderned about her love life. From what they’ve heard about Inuyasha, they belive he is a crazy and possesive boyfriend, and want Kagome to pull herself out of the relationship by setting her up with someone else, especially Houjo.

If they ever met Kurama, they would probably try to set Kagome up with him because he is the polar opposite of Iunyasha. You would think ‘Why won’t they take him for themselves?’, well it’s Kagome they want to help have a better love life, and as her friends they would think of her before theirself.

Kagome has a very understanding, yet odd family. She loves them very much, and they take great interest in Kagome’s time of when she would be in the fuedal era.

The events and people around Kagome aren’t normal. They are weird, but that is what makes them so precious to Kagome.

Since Kurama isn’t an average human being, it would be difficult to find someone who would look past everything and love only him. I know Kagome would love Kurama for everything he is, and she wouldn’t leave him because he has more than one soul or for what he’s done in the past.

Kagome keeps on living, even after part of her soul is taken from her. Her soul isn’t complete, but I think Kurama would still love her no matter what situation she is in.

Isn’t a relationship always better off where two completely different people can relate at some times? Kurama and Kagome have something in common and because of that, they have a string that binds them together.

This is how I see them, as well as their relationship. They have a far from normal life and they deserve eternal happiness with someone of their own to love.
